I just snapped these pics on my front porch. Queen Anne's Lace is so pretty, even from underneath. Click on the photos to see the details nice and close. I'd also like to give a big thanks-for-nothin' shout out to the bee who mercilessly terrorized me the entire length of this photo shoot! So thanks for nothin'!

ReplyDeletei love queen anne's lace. it's so country...reminds me of my roots. :)
ReplyDeletethis grows wild everywhere around here! I just put together a big cluster of it and a few leftover tobacco flowers. so glad someone else appreciates what most think of as a weed! : )
ReplyDeletebeautiful, i love it.
ReplyDeleteim so so afraid of bees and wasps, its not even funny.
Amanda- I run from bees and wasps...I don't believe that "leave them alone and they'll leave you alone" garbage! I am horribly afraid of them. It's amazing I even got any clear shots of these flowers because I was running and moving around like a maniac the whole time, haha.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of one of my favorite flowers. I never thought of taking pictures from the underside. I'm going to try that.
ReplyDeleteBeauty of nature !!
